Add Kometrics to ChatGPT

Connector URL
https://app.kometrics.com/mcp
  1. 1Turn on Developer mode under Settings, then Connectors.
  2. 2Add a connector with the connector URL, and OAuth as the authentication.
  3. 3Approve it on the Kometrics screen, choosing the workspace it reads.

ChatGPT reaches Kometrics through the same MCP endpoint every other client uses. Add it once under Connectors and you can ask about MRR, churn, cohorts and customers in the window you already have open, and get your figures rather than a plausible average.

Authentication is OAuth, so there is no client id, no secret and no header to handle. ChatGPT registers itself, sends you to the Kometrics approval screen, and you choose the workspace it reads there. That choice is remembered for ChatGPT on its own.

The connector is read only by construction. Every tool it exposes reads the ledger, and none of them can write to it.

What it is good for

  • Asking about the book in the assistant your team already pays for
  • Turning a month of movements into a summary someone else can read
  • Checking a figure while you are drafting somewhere else entirely
