Cohorts
Retention, one signup month at a time
How much of each signup month is still paying you.
app.kometrics.com/cohorts

The classic retention triangle: one row per cohort, one column per month of age, shaded by how much of the cohort is left. It answers the question a churn rate cannot, which is whether the customers you win now stay longer than the ones you won last year.
Read it by customers or by MRR. The MRR view is the one that shows expansion outrunning churn, where a cohort passes the revenue it started with.
What it does
- Customer retention and net MRR retention in the same grid
- Cohorts by first payment month
- Shaded so the shape reads before the numbers do
- Windowed to the last 12, 24 or 36 cohorts
